In 1961, George Forsythe came up with the term “computer science. A year later, the first university computer science department was established. And Forsythe went on to found the computer science department at Stanford University.
Computers and Technology have been integrated into virtually every economic sector, industry, and even organisation operating in the modern economy as a result we have with us wearable electronic devices, self-driving cars, and video communications that shape our lives on a daily basis.
The sheer number of engineering graduates far outweighs the number of MBA graduates as India produces an estimated 1.5 million global engineers. Taken at face value, a master’s in science or engineering yields high earnings due to the growth in the field of internet and cloud computing, a major factor driving the computer technology market.
The global Computer Engineering market size was valued at US$ 1685 billion in 2022 and is forecast to be a readjusted size of US$ 2191 billion by 2029 with a compounded growth rate of 3.8 percent.
AI Engineer, ML Engineer, AI Specialist, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Software Engineer are the jobs that are in upswing and have higher than average salaries with a strong projected growth. As a master’s degree fills the gap between demand and supply for skilled talent, companies in and out of technology like Mastercard, IBM, Oracle, Meta, AT&T, TCS etc will continue hiring MS CS/CE graduates in abundance.

Work Options For International Students
Work during your Studies
International students are eligible to work on and off campus while studying full time and are allowed 20 hours a week and full time during scheduled breaks
Career counsellors who have years of experience help students with grooming, resume building and are committed in helping students reach their career goals through seminars and on-campus job fairs
Work after Graduation:
International students after graduating have a job in the periphery of their study which allows them to work on full time basis for 40 hours a week
